The US Open 2021 is just a week away and fans seem quite exhilarated about it. Even though Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer are not playing at the tournament, fans will witness the likes of Novak Djokovic, Naomi Osaka, and Ashleigh Barty at the Grand Slam.

The men’s domain look quite challenging this year. While Novak Djokovic will be chasing his Calendar Slam at the US Open 2021, he will receive some tough competition from Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Zverev. Both the next gens are in some great form and Zverev has already denied the Serbian his Golden Slam after defeating him at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

On the women’s side, Naomi Osaka will begin as the favorite and the defending champion. Even though she is not enjoying the best of her form on tour, fans are pretty much aware about her stats at the Grand Slams. However, World No.1 Ashleigh Barty and Serena Williams will pose some tough challenge to the Japanese star.

The draw of the US Open 2021 will take place on August 26, 2021 at 12 noon local time. Both the men’s and women’s draw will take place on the very same day.
