The 1st T20I between Australia and Pakistan has ended in no result due to rain. Although it was not a high chasing game for Australia, captain Aaron Finch has made headlines with his 16-ball 37. While chasing a below-par of 108, Australia openers David Warner and Aaron Finch got off to a flying start.

While Warner faced only 4 balls, Finch was the one who did wonders. Mohammad Irfan opened the innings for Pakistan and Finch hit him a boundary in the very first over. But his second over was the highlight of the game. Finch welcomed his second over with a maximum. It was a short delivery on the leg stump and he pulls over deep square leg for a six.

The next delivery was a full length one on the leg stump and Finch flicked it away to the deep mid-wicket for a boundary. The next one was a no-ball outside the off-stump which he hit over extra-cover for a boundary.

The third ball was an overpitched one and he played it across and hit in the air over the square leg boundary for another maximum. The over became a nightmare for Irfan as the fifth ball went for a boundary through mid-off. Mohammad Irfan who played his first T20I in three and a half years conceded 26 runs in his second over.

Earlier in the game, Pakistan had a pretty bad show with the bat. Captain Babar Azam was the only positive with a quickfire score of 59* off 38. Apart from him, Mohammad Rizwan scored 31 off 33 as Mitchell Starc and Kane Richardson bagged 2 wickets each and restricted them within 107 on the board.
