Kyrie Irving’s absence from the Brooklyn Nets roster might not be reflected on the conference standings. Despite his absence, Brooklyn is still the top seed in the East. However, several NBA experts, fans, and legends of the game feel that in a series of 7, they need Irving to be unstoppable.

In simple terms, the consensus is that James Harden and Kevin Durant cannot win a championship without Irving’s presence.

Kerry Kittles, the Nets legend, has supported this narrative. He feels that in the modern era of basketball, a third star on the team is necessary to win a championship. This is what he told Scoop B of Bally Sports about the prospects of the championship ambitions of his former team.
