Los Angeles Lakers registered their third straight win after beating Sacramento Kings at home. With a 122-114 win over the Kings, the Lakers improved their winning percentage over .500. LeBron James and Malik Monk led the scoring charts for the Lakers with 31 and 24 points, respectively.

James has been in fine form in the past few weeks and, despite the Lakers’ woes, continues to deliver. Two of the biggest problems with the Lakers this season have been injuries and consistency. However, injuries to some of their top players have allowed their youngsters to step up. For Malik Monk, it has been a blessing in disguise.
