While All-Star games may not be counted as important as the NBA Playoffs, it is surely a way to give the fans what they want.  These games feature some iconic matchups and team-ups like never seen before. In the last season itself, Stephen Curry and LeBron James were on the same team for the first time and the NBA fans could not get enough of it. Similarly, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant were almost always All-Stars throughout their career.

Every season they played, the NBA community wanted to see them in the All-Star Games. In those games, we saw some incredible moments including those where they engaged in trash talk. Michael Jordan even roasted Bryant for having lesser championship rings than him. This was incredible for every NBA fan to see.

When Kobe Bryant was humbled by Michael Jordan’s trash talk

During the 2003 All-Star game, Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan were on opposing teams. This matchup led to several engagements between the duo which were recorded on camera.

Stephen Curry on Playing Golf With the President of United States: “I Was Told Not to Reveal That Information. That’s Top Secret. I’m Like the Secret Service.”

During some free throws in the game, Michael and Kobe went at it. Michael Jordan said, “That’s a foul all day long!” To this, Kobe responded “Awh I know you ain’t talking. I know you ain’t talking.”

Jordan hilariously responds, “Hey! You only got three now, I got six. I would’ve get that foul, you only got three now.”

This left Kobe Bryant with no responses except a humble one, “You’re right, I can’t say nothing to that. I can’t say nothing, Imma shut up and take it.”

Kobe Bryant’s relationship with Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan always treated Kobe Bryant like a little brother. While in the media’s eyes they were opponents, Jordan was like a mentor for Bryant. After Kobe Bryant’s demise, Michael Jordan gave an emotional ode to him.
