WATCH: Rare Childhood Video of Stephen Curry in a Burger King Commercial

The Curry family has basketball flowing in their veins. Even before they drafted Stephen and Seth Curry into the NBA, their father, Dell Curry was a prominent figure in the league who won the Sixth Man of the Year in 1994.

However, it is not a widely known fact that the Warriors superstar had a fanbase even before he joined the league. The credit for that goes to his father, with whom Stephen Curry appeared in a nationwide commercial as a young, adorable child.

It is indeed very rare to see athletes promoting fast food. We have come across some rare footage of Stephen Curry appearing in a Burger King commercial. This commercial was shot and televised in the 1990s across the United States.

How are the Curry brothers doing in the NBA right now?

Stephen Curry is arguably the current face of the league and certainly the face of the Golden State Warriors. He has changed three-point shooting in the league, dynamically.

Surprisingly, while Stephen Curry shoots more in volume, Seth Curry is a more efficient shooter from beyond the arc. Their field goal percentage is almost neck to neck but the younger sibling slightly edges ahead in three-point percentage. Nevertheless, it’s all love between the brothers while playing in two separate conferences.

How is Stephen Curry performing so far in the NBA?

Leading the MVP Ladder and officially being recognized as Western Conference’s Player of the Month, Curry is having a stellar start to the season. The Warriors are currently the top seed in the Western Conference table after ending the Suns’ 18 game winning streak.

While Curry was struggling from beyond the arc until the third quarter in the game against the Spurs, he shot in a buzzer beater from half court at the end of the third quarter. Unfortunately, the Warriors lost by 5 points. While many might attribute this to Curry’s struggles tonight, one must remember that he is only human.
