Bianca Andreescu Signs a Lucrative Sponsorship Deal With Rolex

The Canadian pride, Bianca Andreescu has been flourishing on the WTA circuit this year and now to her hoard of sponsorships and endorsements, she adds one more deal. Andreescu has signed a contract with the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer, Rolex.

“Excited to announce that I’m officially a part of the Rolex family!! Can’t wait to get to work with the Rolex Team,” the reigning US Open champion tweeted.

Right after she won her Indian Wells title this year, Andreescu rose to World Number 23 on the ranking scale and became the Canadian face of tennis. Soon after her historic win, a Canadian vegan restaurant chain Copper Branch signed an endorsement deal with Bianca Andreescu for a year. The deal was worth $50K.

In less than four months after shaking hands with them, Andreescu pulled off a victory on her home soil, Toronto at Rogers Cup 2019 and later, she became the first Canadian ever to win a Grand Slam singles title at the US Open 2019.

“Considering Bianca’s athletic potential, talent and determination in her sport, this collaboration with Copper Branch was an obvious fit as it coincided with the brand’s inherent values in always offering its best in a competitive environment,” said Generation Agency associate Pierre Gagnon.

Andreescu avails sponsorships from Nike, BMW, and Head and their renewal fees’ are surely going to be hiked for all her present sponsors.

The 19-year-old Canadian, Bianca Andreescu began her 2019 season with career earnings of $215,888 and in the past, she also dealt with numerous injuries. This season, the teenage-age sensation from Candana made $6 million in prize money this season and she drew $3.85 million for the US Open title alone.

World Number five, Bianca Andreescu held a 17-match winning streak this year and that was snapped by Naomi Osaka in the quarterfinals of China Open 2019 in Beijing. In addition to her recent achievement, Andreescu has also qualified for the year-end WTA Finals 2019.
