The bodybuilding legend, Arnold Schwarzenegger has been the epitome of success in more than one field. Schwarzenegger has proved his mettle in acting and politics too. But his chase for ‘success at any cost’, has caused troubles in his personal life at many points in his life. But today, after a long period, he stands as a proud father. And not just to his kids with his now ex-wife, Maria Shriver, but also to his child from the extra-marital affair, the most resembling of all, Joseph Baena.

Joseph Baena was born out of Schwarzeneger’s affair with Mildred Baena, while he was still married to Shriver. At 25, Baena has no hard feelings and only feels fortunate and loved to have a father like Schwarzenegger. And in a recent interview, Arnie was all praises of Baena, and he also talked about how Joseph is following right in his footsteps, from bodybuilding to movies.

Things have just got busier for Arnold Schwarzenegger with the release of his new Netflix series FUBAR and an upcoming Netflix 3-part documentary on his life, ‘Arnold’. To promote his Netflix series, he recently sat down with Tracy Smith of CBS Sunday Morning and talked about his upcoming projects, his family, his crusade against pollution, etc. For a brief while, the topic did touch upon his youngest son Joseph Baena.

Tracy Smith asked Arnie, “Joseph is following in your bodybuilding steps too, right?” To this, Schwarzenegger replied, “Well every step. Joseph is into real estate, he is into acting, he is into bodybuilding… It’s kind of like the ‘Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,'” referencing that Joseph is very much like him.

One of Baena’s earliest film works was ‘Terminator 2 Remake with Joseph Baena: Bad to the Bone,’ where he played the titular android which was first played by his father in 1984 and then its sequel in 1991. Baena is very much interested in doing a full live-action remake of Terminator someday and has even reciprocated a fan’s feelings once about the same. Baena wants to make it big in Hollywood like his father did, but that’s not the only thing he followed. He is a bodybuilder, too, and has frequently worked out with Schwarzenegger.
