YouTuber turned pro boxer Jake Paul took to social media and went on a victory lap following his recent KO win. ‘The Problem Child’ stopped Ben Askren in under two minutes of the first round with a vicious right hand. Ben Askren went face-first onto the canvas and didn’t recover in time as the referee called off the action.
Jake Paul’s stock has gone up exponentially following his KO victory over a former UFC title contender and Olympic wrestler. While Askren wasn’t known for his stand-up, he was certainly well versed in the overall art of combat. Chiefly, it was believed that he would go out and outwork Paul in close range, however, that wasn’t the case.

Going into the fight, Dana White had wagered that Ben Askren would easily walk through Jake Paul in their contest. In fact, he went so far as to put up a million dollars on this claim, and Paul plans on cashing in. White’s confidence in Askren’s victory came from the viewpoint that his experience as a famed MMA fighter would be enough to win the day.
It’s easy to see why Dana White would pick Ben Askren to win because he’s faced some heavy hitters in his MMA run. Right from Douglas Lima to Robbie Lawler, Askren has always managed to put his best foot forward against dangerous strikers. However, on Saturday night, things went sideways quickly for ‘Funky’ Ben.
It’s safe to assume that Dana White won’t be going around wagering money on celebrity boxing matches going forward. The long-time boss of the UFC has suffered his fair share of losses, however, this one certainly hits home.
