Jake Paul apparently wants to grab the complete attention of the combat world and for that, he isn’t just beefing with the boxers. But has also been in constant feuds with MMA fighters, especially the ones from the UFC. Following his highlight-reel KO over Tyron Woodley in December 2021, ‘The Problem Child’ teased a potential move to the MMA universe.

Meanwhile, he has already started taking digs at Dana White and his starfighters by releasing a diss track, recently. That said, White appears to have the favor of the IBF cruiserweight champion, who doesn’t mind battling Jake Paul in the squared circle.

5-0 as a pro, Jake Paul is now a boxer. But hasn’t faced a single professional pugilist so far. While he vows to challenge boxers next, Mairis Briedis seems interested in trading shots. The Latvian boxer commented on one of Dana White’s latest Instagram posts, requesting the UFC honcho to get him a fight against ‘The Problem Child’.

Briedis wrote, “Hello Dana. If you could organize fight between me and Jake Paul. I would smash and destroy him and pay you for your work. He said he wants real boxers in his interview and this is his chance to meet world boxing champion. I want to teach him what real boxing means.”

Briedis has been a world champion since 2019, holding the IBF cruiserweight strap since September 2020. He holds a record of 28-1, in which 20 KOs are in his favor. He truly has the accolades to challenge Paul. But 24-year-old Paul seems to look for superstar opponents and has shown no interest in Mairis Briedis so far.

Whatever it may be, IBF champion Mairis Briedis may not get a shot at ‘The Problem Chid’ or the multi-million payday the fight would fetch. But several other boxers like Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Tommy Fury seem viable to make it against Paul, which further intensifies the scenario.
