Mike Tyson’s Son Snubs Michael Jordan to Brand LeBron James as ‘GOAT’ after Rewriting NBA History

The statement, “LeBron James is the GOAT”, has been surfacing on the internet since James made it into the NBA history books. James has become the highest scorer in the history of the NBA, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Praise for ‘King James’ has been pouring in from all over the world. Amir Tyson, Mike Tyson’s son, didn’t hold back in showing respect and admiration for James. The son of former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson is earning victories in domains other than boxing. 

Amir is the second son of Mike Tyson from his second marriage with Monica Turner. He is an actor and a producer and owns a fashion brand, Debonair Attire. Notably, ‘Iron’ Mike’s marriage with Turner met a fateful end in 2003.

Tyson took to Instagram to applaud James’s achievement in the NBA. He wrote, “Legendary. Having the record for the most important thing in basketball, which is scoring points, enhances the argument of him being the greatest player ever.”

The Los Angeles legend had a historic night, becoming the highest scorer in NBA when playing against the Oklahoma city thunder. Even though the match was not in favor of the lakers, James had a memorable night.

Tyson was simply delighted to see James shatter records in the NBA and achieve all there is. In addition, Amir posted a poll on Instagram, asking his followers who they think is the ‘Greatest Of All Time’, Michael Jordan or LeBron James. James surpassed Kareem and Michael Jordan on the same night. ‘King James’ now has six rings, the perfect six-for-six finals record, and the NCAA championship to back his ‘GOAT’ status.

The internet is in awe of LeBron James’ greatness. Reactions poured in from all over the world on a monumental night. Travis Kelce took some time from his Super Bowl final prep to congratulate the champ. He acknowledged James’ nickname and called him ‘the chosen one’. 

Ex-teammate of James, Isaiah Thomas didn’t hold back from showing his appreciation towards the new highest scorer.

Other celebrities, including Drake and Rihanna, posted videos to congratulate the NBA legend. Floyd Mayweather Jr and Usher were also seen courtside witnessing history being made live. Fans would agree that the prime of LeBron James is arguably over. However, it looks like the 38-year-old still has a lot of playing left in him and will continue to shatter records and make history during his time in the NBA.
