“Boxing thrives off excitement, but excitement of an American champion. I should come back on popular demands because that’s all I’ve been hearing from high and low – from homeless people to all the way to billionaires. So many people reaching out, telling me the importance because, without American heavyweight, boxing really ain’t exciting,” Wilder had said.
