Heavyweight world champions Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have a lot of similarities. Their sheer dominance, world championship run, and boxing skills are definitely on the list.

However, not everyone knows that their common love for golf is also a valid thing to add on. WBC champion Tyson Fury appears to be a huge fan of the sport as he plans to launch his own ‘The Gypsy King Golf Tour’. Meanwhile, Anthony Joshua has also amazed the fans by joining the loop.

No, he didn’t collaborate with Fury. Instead, Joshua recently took to social media and showcased his love for the sport with a tweet. Nevertheless, the fans are already excited.

Golf is a popular sport in the UK and the current world heavyweight champions just validated the statement with their actions.

Anthony Joshua took to Twitter and posted a picture of himself at a golf course at Ping Tour Europe. In the caption, he wrote:

Fight fans wouldn’t mind seeing Fury and Joshua go against each other in golf. It will be hard to pick a side, but it will amaze a bunch of sports fans. But we still prefer to see them battle it out inside the ring.

Meanwhile, Fury and Joshua are also touted to battle each other in a title unification bout. However, the matchup is far from being materialized.

Joshua will defend his WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO titles against Kubrat Pulev in December. Fury will also defend his WBC belt in a trilogy contest against Deontay Wilder. Thus, they need to gets past their rivals to bag a stellar bout against each other.

It is no surprise that Fury and Joshua are two of the biggest superstars of boxing. Thus, a fight between them will be highly beneficial for the promoters and fans. If things fall in place, Joshua and Fury can lock horns in 2021.
