Tyson Fury and his return fight have become a debatable topic in the fight fraternity. From the past few weeks, there’s massive news trending around Fury and Dillian Whyte’s potential collision. However, the possibilities of this fight kept shrinking as Whyte demanded a whopping 45% cut for the fight.

Later, the WBC came up with an 80/20 purse split for this fight, with the majority going in Fury’s favor.

On top of this, both Whyte and Fury’s teams even got a January 11 deadline to finalize a deal. Otherwise, the bout would go to purse bids. However, Whyte’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, recently revealed that the purse bids date has been pushed to Friday, January 21 instead.

Alongside that, Fury‘s US promoter, Bob Arum, even came up with a couple of opponents for the champ.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Arum said, “If Dillian Whyte is not gonna fight for whatever reason, obviously we’re not gonna keep Tyson Fury – not gonna make him pay the price of waiting.”

“Fury wants to fight and wants to fight sooner rather than later.

“We can look around, get a good, decent opponent for him to fight if Whyte isn’t available…

“You’ve got guys like Robert Helenius and Manuel Charr.

“You just look at the rankings and pick a couple of guys from the rankings who would make decent opponents.”
