WBC Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury and WWE Champion Drew McIntyre have been teasing a cross-promotion matchup between them for the past few weeks.

That said, WWE administrators have also agreed to materialize the fight. However, Fury’s upcoming boxing plans may throw a spanner into the works.

‘The Gypsy King’ is currently slated to defend his title against Deontay Wilder. Nonetheless, a fight against the WWE World Champion looks extremely interesting to the heavyweight kingpin.

Boxing great Tyson Fury is hunting for WWE champ Drew McIntyre in Scotland

The undefeated Briton recently took to Twitter and stunned several fans with a cheeky video. Tyson Fury seemingly traveled all the way to Scotland, in search of Drew McIntyre. At least, that’s what he claims in the clip.

The blockbuster matchup has already raised a lot of eyebrows and ‘The Gypsy King’ further stirred the pot with his social media antics. Fury was seen taking a walk on the streets of Edinburgh, as he frequently called out ‘The Chosen One’.

Fury called out to the McIntyre taunting the WWE champion to fight him like a man while going around town in search of the Scot.

“Drew McIntyre, the Gypsy King is in Edinburgh, looking all over for you. Where are you Drew? I have been looking all over Drew, all day and can’t see ya. Hiding from me Drew hiding, come and fight like a proper man,” exclaimed Fury.

Well, this is an interesting signal for the fight fans who were expecting to see ‘The Gypsy King’ return to the WWE ring. Especially, after a spectacular performance against Braun Strowman at the Crown Jewel 2019.

WWE settled a couple of cross-promotion fights to cement their Crown Jewel fight card. While Cai Velasquez turned to the WWE ring and took on Brock Lesnar, Fury locked horns against Braun Strowman.

After a close-contest, Fury poleaxed Braun Strowman to kick off his WWE journey. Thus, his return against Drew McIntyre will seemingly attract fight fans as the world title hangs in the balance.
