Canelo Alvarez and Billy Joe Saunders will lock horns on May 8, putting all the three super-middleweight titles (WBC, WBA, and WBO) at stake. While Saunders will also put his undefeated record on the line, he will look for the opportunity to become the second man after Floyd Mayweather to defeat Alvarez.

That said, it would demand a lot from the WBO titleholder and in that case, Saunders will also have the risk of losing his championship. But, fellow IBF champion, Caleb Plant, has some valuable advice for the Brit. Akin to Saunders, Plant is also waiting to get his shot at Canelo Alvarez and has recently previewed an in-ring collision between Alvarez and Saunders.

And it’s up to him to not allow Canelo to negate those things and if he does, it’s up to him to have to figure out a new way.”

“So you can have all the attributes in the world and all the boxing ability, but if you can’t go in there and implement it, then you know it doesn’t mean too much,” added Caleb Plant.
