However, the 31-year-old champion had several opponents banging on his door for the next fight, but he is going to lock horns with Russian pugilist, Dmitry Bivol. Recently, in an interview with the iFL tv, the 25-year-old undefeated pugilist opened up new chapters related to his and Canelo’s fight. According to him, Alvarez turned down a massive deal, which was offered to him by PBC.

The Phoenix boxer said, “It was kind of a shock because I talked to my advisers, and they said for me alone, they were offering him 55 million dollars plus pay-per-view.”

Further, he added, “I feel like it’s funny because everybody talks, ‘Payday, payday,’ but this guy is making more of a payday than anybody.”

However, according to ‘The Red Flag’, $55 million besides pay-per-view was enough, but it depended on the champion, who he wanted to face.
