Deontay Wilder is one of the most feared heavyweight boxers of this generation. Despite having a stellar record, Tyson Fury is the only opponent he has ever fallen to. The two have faced off in the ring against one another thrice, with Fury winning twice with one bout ending in a draw. Since his defeat against Fury, Wilder has not engaged in combat.

While talking to ‘SecondsOut’, Matchroom Boxing boss Eddie Hearn revealed, “I mean certainly Deontay Wilder. I mean, I actually reached out to Shelly Finkel the other day. Because I’ve got so much money for Deontay Wilder in an offer, but they never come back to me. I don’t know whether Deontay Wilder doesn’t wanna hear about that offer or whatever.”

Moreover, even Wilder has not fought any boxer since his last fight with Tyson Fury. Well, only time will tell if we get to see a Joshua vs. Wilder fight in the near future.
