It was an amazing victory for the undefeated Joshua Buatsi as he successfully defended his WBA international light heavyweight strap against Marko Calic via TKO in their latest encounter.

Since both boxers entered the ring undefeated, they brought a lot of intensity with them. No wonder the same intensity was put on display as Joshua Buatsi became the aggressor from the very first round. He outpointed Marko Calic thoroughly and didn’t let him offer much in response.

Finally, Buatsi had the last laugh by claiming a seventh-round TKO win over Calic to keep his title. However, it was all business inside the ring. Outside the squared circle, Buatsi and Calic showcased sportsmanship and spent some time together after their war.

Joshua Buatsi and Marko Calic respect each other

After the 12-round battle ended within seven, both boxers flaunted the war marks on their face. Receiving some brutal shots from each other, their eyes were swollen, and they were barely in the mood to rejoice after the fight.

While Buatsi defended his title, he also received some clean shots in the fight. Although they were very few, the Brit sported some major bruises on his face. That said, Calic and Buatsi spent some time hugging each other backstage.
