Fabio Wardley Batters Eric Molina to Claim Another Knockout Win

The hard-hitting heavyweights Fabio Wardley and Eric Molina rolled out a show worth the wait. The pair battled each other exuberantly well and kept the fans on their toes throughout the fight. However, Wardley came out on top in the biggest test of his career by knocking Molina out cold in round 5.

The bout began on a light note for both the pugilists. Wardley landed his light jabs on the veteran and tried to close the distance. It was in round number 3 when the Fabio caught Molina with a few big shots. Wardley picked pace from that round and carried the momentum.

He employed his slick in-ring movements, and this is predominantly how he dodged the dynamite-like shots from Molina, but the veteran caught him in round 5 with a solid right hand.

Despite that, Wardley counter-attacked ‘Drummer Boy’ and floored Molina.

Fans expected the big men to batter each other right from the first bell. That said, heavyweights principally need just a single big hit to conclude the show. And that’s what everyone saw in this fight.

Initially, it seemed as if the fight would go for straight 12-rounds. In fact, no one expected the underdog to stun Wardley during this bout. But the latter showcased his experience despite failing to claim a win tonight.

With a win over Eric Molina, Wardley improved to 11 wins with absolute 0 losses. He unquestionably made a gigantic statement tonight with a sensational win. Adding another feather to his cap, Wardley now has his eyes keenly set on top contenders of the most dynamic division of the world.

A win over Molina has definitely set the 26-year-old for much bigger opponents. Kubrat Pulev and Luis Ortiz are some contenders with whom Wardley might end up touching his gloves with.
