Floyd Mayweather is undoubtedly the smartest fighter when it comes to the boxing business. After retiring from the white collar contest, ‘The Pretty Boy’ engaged himself in exhibitions. Typically, his fight purses were unmatchable when he was participating in the title shots, but his paydays for exhibitions are more shocking. He still makes more than most world champions in the current generation of boxing. This shows the impact of Mayweather on the sport.

As of now, he is heading to the second exhibition of the year. The fight is all set to take place at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan on September 25. This time the former five weight division champ has chosen an MMA fighter, Mikuru Asakura, as an opponent. It would be interesting to see how Asakura handles the pressure of the ring against the legendary athlete.

According to MailOnline, Mayweather will clinch a purse of $15-20m.

Mayweather believes that exhibitions are giving him an opportunity to travel around the world and entertain boxing fans. As he could not fight in many countries when he was young so he is pushing himself to reach out to those countries and give them a chance to see the old Mayweather.
