Former Opponent Brands Floyd Mayweather as ‘GOAT’ but Claims He ‘Had No Power’

The former five-weight division champ Floyd Mayweather is one of the biggest draws in sports history. The champ defeated the most number of world champions and remained undefeated throughout his career, which terrified the ring for over two decades. He earned almost everything that was there in the ring. Notably, he mastered the art of boxing in such a way that even those who lost to him still appreciate him.

Recently, the former opponent of ‘The Pretty Boy’, DeMarcus Corley, labeled the champ as ‘GOAT’. Along with this, he also claimed that the 45-year-old was not a hard hitter.

Talking to ES News, the former WBO junior welterweight champion answered who is GOAT in boxing. He said, “Mayweather, his defense and his art of fighting. He knows it, he not get hit. Even you unlike know how he win, motherf***”.

However, he also added Mayweather ‘had no power’.

Moreover, the media personnel also asked ‘Chop Chop’ about the latter’s verbal trash with Mayweather in the ring during their fight.

Notably, Mayweather had said, “Stop crying and fight”, to Corley in a fight. Later, it became famous.

In the initial rounds, Mayweather stunned Corley with speed and accuracy. However, in the fourth round, Corley caught Mayweather with a vicious shot which stumbled Mayweather and sent him on the rope.

Later, Mayweather gathered himself and took control of the ring with unanswered combinations.

It was in the eight-round, when Mayweather taunted Corley, “Stop crying and fight.”

Mayweather won this bout by decision.
