The highly anticipated showdown between heavyweight champions Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk has become a tale of unfulfilled hopes for many boxing fans. With negotiations collapsing multiple times, the boxing world has been left in a state of consternation and uncertainty. The talks for this fight began following Fury’s win over Derek Chisora. However, the bout never materialized after months of negotiations with no side being able to agree with the terms of the contract.

Despite the disappointment of the collapsed negotiations, reports indicate that Saudi Arabia remains a potential contender to host a massive event in the upcoming winter. This speculated event would have fights including former champions Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder in the co-main event with Fury and Usyk taking the main stage.

This was not all as ‘The Gypsy King’ recently revealed his plans to face Usyk by the end of this year. In addition, he also shed some light on his future plans and how he wants to move forward in his career.
