Yet again, the left hand did the job for Gervonta Davis. In the 9th round of the fight, with only 0:13 on the clock, Hector Luis Garcia refused to return to the ring. Davis, who was quick, vicious, and satisfyingly effective with his boxing, left the 31-year-old hurt and wobbling. After the fight, during the ring interview, Luis Garcia spoke about being clueless regarding his position in the ring when ‘Tank’ aimed his brutal shot and had ‘El Androide’ stunningly hit.

“I didn’t know where I was, I mean when he hit me with that shot. My head still hurts but my vision is back, but that’s what happened. I didn’t know where I was,” said Luis Garcia following his first professional defeat. ‘Tank’ later took to Twitter and expressed his own amazement concerning statements by Luis. “Damn, I hit that hard?”, wrote Davis in a reply to a tweet.
