Legendary rapper Snoop Dogg has taken the internet by storm through his commentary appearance on the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr card. Snoop Dogg has been hilariously chiming in on the fights all night alongside UFC champion Israel Adesanya. There’s no shortage of trailblazing one-liners that Snoop Dogg has sprinkled throughout his commentary.

What’s more, Snoop Dogg had his start in commentary during ‘Dana White’s Contender Series’. He became a fan-favorite right off the bat, and his body of work speaks for itself. Moreover, a prime example of his hilarious commentary came in the Jake Paul vs Nate Robinson bout.

‘The Problem Child’ Jake Paul won the day in emphatic fashion when he made Robinson look out of his depth. The NBA star had nothing to offer in the fight in terms of defense and came in irresponsibly from the get-go. He was knocked out in less than two rounds.

However, fans couldn’t get over Snoop Dogg’s hilarious commentary right from the opening moments of the fight. The iconic rapper began dropping lines that will be quoted in pop culture going forward. Not to mention, there’s no way that fans could have relayed their focus entirely on the bout with Snoop’s commentary in the background.

However, there’s no taking away from the fact that Jake Paul is a dynamic puncher and has a future in celebrity boxing going forward. Chiefly, he called out Conor McGregor and his training partner Dillon Danis after the contest. With a growing profile of over 30 million followers across his platforms, he certainly has the star power to attract big fights.

It’s proven that internet stars have a place in the sport of boxing as they continue to command massive business. Additionally, fans are interested in seeing hybrid cards with internet superstars alongside the traditional purist boxers. If Jake Paul continues to put on show-stopping performances, there’s no denying him lucrative opportunities.
