AJ reportedly attended an event along with Prince Charles, the heir to Britain’s throne. The two appeared for a Commonwealth event at Westminster Abbey on 9 March. Recently, it was confirmed that the Prince is diagnosed with the COVID-19.
The Prince is now under self-quarantine, carrying out his duty to avoid letting the virus spread to others. According to sources, he is currently in Scotland.
Joshua’s spokesperson spoke to the Daily Mail in London regarding his current condition.
He said, “AJ is at home following government guidelines. He is fit and well, he wishes everyone affected a speedy recovery and a huge thank you to all the front-line key workers.”

Will the coronavirus affect Anthony Joshua vs. Kubrat Pulev
Anthony Joshua currently holds the IBF, IBO, WBA, and WBO. Thus, it is mandatory for him to defend all these titles and not let the Boxing world go stagnant.
Hence, he is set to defend his titles against Kubrat Pulev in June. However, amidst the pandemic outbreak, most sports leagues are unable to carry on with their proceedings.

Even the trilogy fight between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder has been postponed indefinitely. Therefore, there is very little chance of Anthony’s title defense taking place in June, as the virus still grows in magnitude.
Nevertheless, the fight will take place, whenever nature permits. After all, the world will resume normalcy some time or the other. And when it does, sports will be back on track too.
Do you think Anthony will be able to defend his titles against Kubrat when the time comes?
