“He Looks More Broken”: Deontay Wilder Makes Bold Statement on Anthony Joshua

The rematch billed as Rage on the Red Sea is now a matter of only a few hours. Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk are all set to run it back again, this time inside the Jeddah Superdome, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This will be Joshua’s 27th pro fight and Usyk’s 20th bout since his debut in 2013. Since his debut, Usyk has managed to remain undefeated and is currently on a 19-win streak. On the other hand, Joshua, theoretically, more experienced (as long as the number of fights and changes in fate is concerned) has offered pretty much all – domination in his division, a surprising loss, and a comeback to regain those belts.
After Andy Ruiz Jr., Joshua lost to Oleksandr Usyk and for almost a year fought nobody. Usyk’s is the only loss that Joshua now has the chance to avenge. But what does the former heavyweight champion of the world, Deontay Wilder, think of the fight?

Wilder has offered his verdict, and in what you would call a bold statement, marked Joshua a “different” and a “more broken” man.
Deontay Wilder gives his verdict on Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr II
TalkSport correspondent Michael Benson tweeted the statement in the discussion. According to Wilder, Usyk, with more confidence than ever, will have an edge this Saturday night. While Usyk demonstrates confidence, for Wilder, Joshua represents an entirely “different” man. He said, “I’m going with Oleksandr Usyk. He just looks even more confident, more so than ever now. And you just look at Anthony Joshua, he just looks like a different man, he looks more broken.”
Usyk is 35, and he vividly dominated Joshua last year. However, Anthony Joshua is only 32 and with only 2 career losses, hopefully, is far from giving up and pronouncing ‘quit’.
