American boxer Devin Haney is coming off a new victory against his Australian rival George Kambosos Jr. Haney is one of the best lightweight boxers in the world. He currently holds the undisputed lightweight champion title. Fans are eager to see him inside the squared circle again, and he might just have given them a hint for his next fight. 

Ukrainian boxer Vasyl Lomachenko recently defeated Jamaine Ortiz at the Madison Square Garden in New York City. Devin Haney was also present there. Fans saw him inside the ring following Lomachenko’s victory.

When quizzed about a fight with the Ukrainian, Haney replied, “I think it wasn’t the best performance, but I know if me and Loma was a fight, we’d see a better version on that night.  But congratulations, and hope we can get it on.” 

Even Lomachenko agreed to fight the American and said, “Look I’m ready, I told before I’m ready. And I’m ready for any option.” Following this, there has been a serious buzz online about a potential fight between the two. 

Fans speculate a fight between Devin Haney and Vasyl Lomachenko 

The Ukrainian fighter currently has a record of 17-2-0. Fans absolutely loved the fight, and even Ukrainian boxing superstar Oleksandr Usyk was present there. Following the word exchange between Haney and Loamchenko, fans have been making speculations about who would win if they fight inside the ring.

Potential opponents for Vasyl Lomachenko 

Lomachenko has been inactive in the sport for around a year. Although he has been outside the ring for a long time, he made a striking return against Ortiz.

The 34-year-old is looking forward to potential opponents for his upcoming fights. His promoter, Bob Arum, might be now thinking about placing him with Haney. But, there is another fighter who could be seen fighting against the Ukrainian boxer.

The other fighter is none other than Shakur Stevenson. Even Lomachenko stated that he finds Stevenson a tougher opponent than Haney. He said, “I think the more difficult fight is Stevenson. I think he’s more technical.”
