English boxer and national silver medallist, Lyndon Arthur, will take on British boxer, Anthony Yarde, for the Commonwealth light-heavyweight title this weekend inside Royal Albert Hall in London.
Arthur is undefeated inside the boxing ring and will look to defend his commonwealth gold for the second time since grabbing it back in October 2019. Ahead of the match-up, former world title challenger Anthony Yarde shared his thoughts on Arthur and called him boring.

“I am all about entertainment. Lyndon is a better boxer. I said that as I went to boot up. I know there’s no crowd there but people are watching. Everyone wants entertainment.”

“I ain’t gonna criticize too much because it’s boxing. He’s done his job. In my opinion, he won every round. I saw the commentators put the spotlight away for a couple of rounds. I don’t think so. It was a show, but I was bored.”
Yarde’s statement is in light of Arthur’s last win against Dec Spelman back in July this year. Both the boxers took on Spelman in their last bout.
While Yarde faced Spelman last month in an emphatic 6th round TKO win inside BT Sports Studio in London, Arthur picked up a unanimous decision win over the common opponent.

Who gets his hand raised in Anthony Yarde vs Lyndon Arthur?
Anthony Yarde has raked in back-to-back victories since suffering the first loss of his professional career against Sergey Kovalev late last year.
In the process, Yarde failed to get his hands on the WBC light-heavyweight title. However, the British boxer has quickly risen to the top once again and will take on Lyndon Arthur in his third bout in the year 2020.

It’s certainly a quick turnaround for the “Beast From the East” who has looked incredible in his last few outings inside the squared circle. However, Lyndon Arthur is an equally tough opponent who has proved his mettle with 17 straight wins since turning professional back in September of 2016. Be that as it may, Yarde’s experience and his sheer power could prove to be too much against the rising English star.
