“It’s Pretty Embarrassing, But…”: Eddie Hearn Makes His Pick for Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury

The Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury is a matchup that has generated a lot of attention recently. Boxers are betting hundreds and millions on the fight. Fans anticipate Paul’s first encounter with a “real” boxer, and spectators can’t wait to see it. Check out Matchroom Boxing boss Eddie Hearn’s response about it.

Recently Hearn was asked, “Who wins Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury?” The British promoter scratched his forehead, saying, “Ah…Jake Paul, yeah. It’s pretty embarrassing, but yeah.”

Apparently, the promoter thinks that Paul might win the bout. The fight is going to take place on August 6 at the Madison Square Garden in New York City. Furthermore, the event will be co-headlined by Amanda Serrano and Brenda Carabajal. 

Jake Paul and Tyson Fury’s internet battle 

The heavyweight champion is rooting for his younger brother Tommy Fury for his upcoming bout. ‘The Gypsy King’ was willing to wager $100,000 on his brother, defeating Paul. Thereafter, even “The Problem Child” agreed to the wager, but increased the stake to $1 million.

This did not stop here. Paul took to his Instagram and said, “I’m already in contact with your lawyer Robert and my team is in touch with him. So we are ready to get the money into Escrow and make it right away.”

He further added, “What should I spend it on? Should I pay for my new SF-90 with it, or my new 296 GTB, looking at the McLaren Richard Mille right now?”

The retired champ had a response ready for it. “What you can do Jakey boy, is spend on your new teeth. You’ll need that million dollars for dental work.” Both the parties concerned are confident and are putting a lot of money on the line. Let’s see how the fight plays out.

Moreover, the clash was supposed to occur in December at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. Unfortunately, Fury had to pull out of the fight due to an injury. But now everything seems to be in place, and the world is waiting for this fierce showdown.
