Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk II is now official. The fight will take place on August 20 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. There is so much that depends on the event – Anthony Joshua’s career ahead, Oleksandr Usyk’s legacy, and Tyson Fury’s plausible return.

The duo first met on September 25, 2021. Usyk won the fight via unanimous decision and became the third fighter in history to win titles in cruiserweight and heavyweight after Evander Holyfield and David Haye. Currently, under ESPN‘s P4P divisional ranking, Oleksandr Usyk ranks second after Tyson Fury, and Joshua, fourth.

This is the fight promoters were dying to make happen. The rematch had to take place and we must see the ultimate winner. Many in the boxing world believe that the winner of Joshua vs. Usyk II will pull Tyson Fury back in the ring. However, apart from Fury’s suspected return, this fight is equally important for Anthony Joshua’s future in pro boxing.

A user by the handle of Smitty’s Ghost felt Usyk should win again. They wrote the following:

Not sure about light work but he should win again. That either sends Joshua into retirement or maybe a final payday against Wilder for the entertainment value.

In addition, someone called DaisyDoo has predicted Joshua to run out of his tank by the 4th round and get knocked down in the 5th.

@BerryCorner1881 wrote something similar. However, they predicted ‘AJ’ to gas out within round 6.

While they predicted Joshua’s loss, @MarvinKBrown1 was a little sympathetic and offered something of a reasonable point to the debate.

It’s sad to see everyone/fans after two loses have given up on AJ.. saying he’s finished or he wasn’t made for this.. it’s boxing you Win/Lose/Draw!
I believe AJ can win this he’s just got to believe himself more and use his size and strength and more brain used he can WIN!🥊
