Mike Tyson Wheeled Out by Andy Ruiz Jr. for Canelo Alvarez’s Next Fight Prediction

The pound-for-pound king Canelo Alvarez is all set to step up a weight class to battle Dmitry Bivol. The pretty intense showdown is in talks now, as the countdown had already begun. In a course, the Mexican heavyweight Andy Ruiz Jr made a wild prediction wheeling out the iconic words of Mike Tyson.

Recently, the ES News caught the former unified heavyweight champion in the gym. While interacting, ‘The Destroyer’ speculated the result of the Canelo vs Bivol fight.

Highlighting the loopholes of Russian pugilist, he said, “He’s not a counter puncher. Well, like I said, anything can happen in boxing. You know it takes one punch to change the game.”

Furthermore, he recalled the iconic words of ‘The Baddest Man on Planet’. He added, “Mike Tyson says everyone has a plan until they get hit and he is moving up in weight, so this fight is interesting as well. I don’t know. I think Canelo is gonna be an easy fight, easy money.”

The Mexican star is technically the most skilled boxer of this generation. The four-weight division champ is in his prime and many speculate that the best Canelo is yet to come. He is coming out of a back-to-back victory. The last he fought was against the IBF super-middleweight champion, Caleb Plant. Canelo won the fight by technical knockout and became the maiden undisputed super-middleweight champion. The victory against Plant improved his record to 60-1.

Whereas his rival Dmitry Bivol is also of the same age. The WBA light-heavyweight is believed to be in his prime days. With a height and reach advantage, the undefeated Russian has the potential to produce a tough battle against Alvarez. He has already proved how lethal his hands can land by winning eleven out of 19 fights by knockout.
