“Never Seen Him React Like This”- George Kambosos Jr. Believes He Is Breaking Teofimo Lopez Down Bit by Bit

Teofimo Lopez and George Kambosos Jr. have already rolled in to turn their upcoming fight dirty and real, as they didn’t hesitate to go after each other in their recent face-off. They spat venom and almost got physical until the administrators intervened and diffused the situation.
While the unified 135 lbs champion Lopez might have earned enough accolades to boast himself as the superior pugilist, Kambosos Jr. didn’t seem intimidated. Instead, the Australian has claimed that he would overpower Lopez when the two collide.
Still undefeated, ‘Ferocious’ Kambosos Jr. has 19 wins with 10 KOs under his name. Meanwhile, Teofimo Lopez boasts a clean record of 16-0, including 12 KOs. So, the 27-year-old Kambosos Jr. can rightfully match Lopez’s resume.

In interaction with Fight Hype, the Australian orthodox reacted at his recent face-off with Lopez and shook several fans with his fierce response.
“Obviously, man Lopez had a few things outside of the ring as well. And then I am breaking this kid bit by bit, never seen him react like this, and man, after yesterday’s press conference, I was one-nil. But after tonight, I am up five-nil,” said George Kambosos Jr.
However, it didn’t stop there. George Kambosos Jr. truly appeared confident as he took to social media to describe the face-off. He posted a picture of the stare down on Instagram and claimed to have intimidated the ‘Take Over’.
In the caption he wrote, “I Stared Right Into His Soul, Dead Centre, Cold As Ice, Eye To Eye, Man To Boy. I Saw His Fate, I Smelt The Fear And He Saw What He’s Dealing With.”

The unbeaten lightweights had their last fights in October 2020, and both men claimed victories. Kambosos Jr. beat Lee Selby, while Lopez took over Vasyl Lomachenko to earn the unified lightweight belts. Although several analysts billed Lopez to go against the other champions at 135 lbs, Kambosos Jr. finally made it to the contract.

The pair will now square off in a 12-rounds main event on June 5 in Florida, with Lopez’s lightweight belts at stake. In the undercard, Evander Holyfield will return against Kevin McBride and the entire event will be available on Triller.
