It seems like Youtube sensation Jake Paul is gearing up to return to boxing after his fiasco. Paul was initially supposed to take on Tommy Fury in August but replaced him with Hasim Rahman Jr. after he pulled out. However, the case with Rahman Jr. was similar to Fury’s as this fight was also called off a week before the scheduled date.

Paul hasn’t competed in the ring since his victory over Tyron Woodley last December. Moreover, he has been criticized by many for competing against MMA fighters who have little boxing experience. He certainly looked to address this criticism head-on as he claimed he will be facing a pro boxer. Paul took to Twitter and announced that his next opponent will be a professional boxer like Fury and Rahman Jr. He also hinted that the fight might take place in October.

And now Paul has confirmed that the fight will indeed take place in October and the contract has been signed.

However, The Problem Child is yet to reveal who the opponent actually is. It is a matter of days before he announces the opponent and will have one month to prepare for his return. The location and other details of the fight are also yet to be disclosed but will be done pretty soon.

After his fight was canceled, Paul was called out by many boxers, looking to fight him. Paul, on the other hand, did not seem highly interested in sharing the details of his opponent. The only thing we are sure of is that he will be a professional boxer. Paul has been taking shots at controversial kickboxer Andrew Tate and many have speculated that he will be Paul’s next opponent. The Problem Child has also claimed that he would be interested in fighting Tate.

However, with Tate recently getting banned from social media platforms, this might not be the best time for Paul to face him. If Paul wants to really challenge himself, he needs to pick a veteran of the sport and not boxers that don’t have a good track record. In a few days, we will get to know if Paul really is serious about his boxing career after he announces his opponent.
