Ryan Garcia hasn’t stepped inside the squared circle since his first-round TKO win over Francisco Fonseca back in February this year. Garcia remains undefeated in his professional career and is coming off back-to-back first-round KO wins.
He will look to continue the same momentum as he takes on someone as dangerous and experienced as Luke Campbell. Additionally, it will be Garcia’s first real test in the lightweight division. Hanging in the balance will be the interim WBC lightweight championship of the world.
Can Luke Campbell best Ryan Garcia?
Ryan Garcia is still relatively inexperienced compared to his counterparts. However, he has the audience’s attention behind him on the back of a series of scintillating performances against some of the best boxers in the division. Be that as it may, Campbell is as tough as it gets.
The former Olympic gold medallist has consistently proved why he is one of the greatest lightweight boxers of the modern era. He has only lost thrice in his professional boxing career.

Campbell last fought in August 2019 against the former pound-for-pound king Vasyl Lomachenko in a losing affair for the undisputed strap in the lightweight division.
It will be interesting to see whether he will be suffering from a serious case of ring rust following such a long layoff. Cambell will look to use his experience and fight a calculated bout against a power-puncher like Garcia.
