Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. are eventually raising several eyebrows as they walk closer to their upcoming exhibition clash. Firstly, they have regained their fighting physique and are looking sharp at the stage.

However, Tyson has added some external measures to prepare for the fight. While we have already seen him train intensely with MMA mastermind Rafael Cordeiro, ‘Iron’ Mike is also taking electric shocks before his much-anticipated return.

Talk Sport has recently reported Tyson’s ongoing electric therapy, which involves getting shocked with DC on flow. It’s bizarre, but the former world champion is honing himself differently before the historic clash.

Tyson’s strength and conditioning trainer Brad Rowe had reportedly suggested Tyson to use the electric machine and has claimed of receiving positive results. Meanwhile, Mike Tyson has also assured of feeling different from his ongoing electric usage.

Speaking about it, he said, “I’m getting ready to get rejuvenated. This is the electrician. I couldn’t do this [training] without that, my joints would be all f***ed, no way. I’d be retired. Listen, before he got on the scene and it was good, but then there was pain.”

He added, “Those pains came back and I said, ‘Wow, this is why I retired, this is why I stopped boxing. And then I got this [machine]. I mean, you can’t believe this s***, man.”

As per Rowe, Tyson had admitted to having some back pain when he thought of introducing the machine. After bringing it to the gym, Rowe claims to have seen a vast difference in Tyson’s performance.

He said, “I got a text out of the blue saying that his back was sore, come down to Newport and work with him. And I told him one day. ‘Mike let me get on you with the machine before you get in the ring. Let me see how much better you perform.”

Rowe added, “Literally within 30 seconds in the ring both him and his boxing trainer just stopped and looked at me. They’re like, ‘What the hell did you just do?”

Amid all such exciting experiments, Tyson and Jones will lock horns for an exhibition which will prevent them from hurting the other. It will be a sparring contest with no official winner. So, Tyson’s exceptional training regime might not help him secure a knockout on return.
