‘Please Help’: Mike Tyson Makes a Special Request to His Fans

Mike Tyson has always lived up to his moniker of being ‘The Baddest Man On The Planet’. However, the former heavyweight champion has shown his humanitarian side on several occasions. From aiding the needy to hosting charitable events, ‘Iron’ Mike has been involved in several social welfare activities throughout the time.
Even back in his prime years, Tyson used to go back to his opponents after knocking them out, just to showcase healthy sportsmanship. Well, he seemingly retains the same mindset as 55-year-old Mike Tyson asked fans to offer help while referring to cancer-battling kids.

In one of his latest tweets, Tyson reposted the 13 minute documentary by US magician Criss Angel, who conveyed the story of his son’s battle with Leukemia. Per reports, Angel’s son Johnny Crisstopher suffered a relapse of leukemia and went into extensive care of remission. However, he seems to have shown some prominent progress and Criss Angel revealed it on Twitter to inspire several of his followers.

Mike Tyson also seemed to have taken inspiration from it, as he wrote, “He has inspired so many to keep up the fight until the end. Johnathan Crisstopher’s fight continues on the other side as a survivor fighting for kids still in the battle. Please help kids that are in the fight now…”

Criss Angel has begun an active initiative to provide financial aid to the kids battling cancer. You can visit his official site and donate, which Mike Tyson also suggested. That said, Mike Tyson’s return to action against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020 also served society. Tyson reportedly raised money for charitable causes.

Ending a hiatus of over 15 years from the boxing ring, Mike Tyson looked elegant before Roy Jones Jr. in their exhibition bout. The fight resulted in a draw. But Tyson reportedly earned $10 million with ‘Captain Hook’ spinning a whopping $3 million. The exact figures aren’t clear. Nevertheless, Tyson seems to have donated a huge chunk into the charitable funds.

He can return to the ring again. The ex-champion is already rumored with several potential opponents. That will fetch him another lucrative payday. However, Tyson has announced nothing about it, busy with his outer-ring activities.
