Famous American actor Faizon Love has given his say on the entire Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. fight. The icons of the sport will return in an 8-round exhibition fight. This event got a lot of criticism and Love has made a very bold claim. The actor who is famously known for his roles in ‘Couples Retreat’ and ‘Torque’, said the entire event is staged just to earn money.

Speaking to DjVlad, Faizon believed that it would not be as predictable as fans imagined. He said, “I think Roy is going to win only because this is a staged event. Mike Tyson has gotten brilliant in his older age. So all this whole thing, him going at TK and it’s all foddered for ‘oh, Mike Tyson’s back. He’s crazy. He’s…. He’s…. You think he’s going to obliterate, Obliterate Roy. Flip that around.”

The American added, “All the money’s on Mike. But I guarantee you, there’s people that have their money on Roy. And that, that is the win.”

This something that many fans would not have thought off and it will be extremely interesting to see ‘Captain Hook’ claim the win.

How can Roy Jones Jr. beat Mike Tyson and prove Faizon right?

The fight is tough to predict given both fighters’ age and inconsistency. Jones Jr’s best chance to win the fight is if he keeps his distance from Mike Tyson and can counter the power-punches. It will be a tough ask since Jones Jr. no longer possesses the same speed he had in his prime.

Faizon Love may have a point, and that could also explain the various rules and regulations that this event has. However, it would be too disrespectful to the fans as well as the fighters if this is the case. We will find out whether this event is fixed or not on Saturday. Who do you think will come out on top in the fight?
