Following a TKO win over Luke Campbell, it’s all fame and glory for Ryan Garcia now. The 22-year-old has become the WBC Interim lightweight champion and is on the brink of bagging a title fight against WBA champion Gervonta Davis.

He will also appear alongside Mike Tyson in the upcoming episode of the Hotboxin podcast. What’s more? Ryan Garcia has recently inked himself and will boast of a new tattoo. A couple of hours back, Garcia turned to Twitter and posted the images of his new ink.

He has portrayed a lion on his chest and shared it to his fans allover the world. While the combat community considers Garcia as a fierce superstar, the new lion tattoo seemingly disseminates a similar aura about the WBC Interim lightweight champion.

That said, fans are not very impressed by Garcia’s new tattoo. Instead, they have mocked the Mexican-American on Twitter. Although Garcia might not pay much attention to his critics, the boxing world surely does. Here’s a look at some fan responses.

Ryan Garcia- The Uncrowned King

Boasting an unbeaten record of 21 wins with 18 KOs, ‘KingRy’ is one of the finest lightweights in the active roster. However, he is still to face the current title holders in Gervonta Davis (WBA), Teofimo Lopez (unified) and Devin Haney (WBC).

Akin to Garcia, all these champions are also undefeated and reside at the top of the division. So, they need to fight each other to clear the doubts and settle the best between them. Meanwhile, Garcia has vowed to face Gervonta Davis next and Tank’ has also agreed to the call.

But, WBC champion Haney might be the right opponent for Garcia. Being the WBC Interim champion, ‘KingRy’ can settle a fight against Haney easily. However, a fight against Davis might demand several promotional stances and contractual turmoils to get ironed out.

Amid all these, Garcia is still on a safe spot and has started 2021 on a wonderful note. He can continue the dominance further by bagging even bigger challenges ahead. His endorsements and social media following have already made him a superstar. Now, it’s his turn to continue his boxing dominance.
