A bizarre video posted by the former WBC champion, Deontay Wilder shocked the entire boxing world. Teofimo Lopez has become the latest boxing star to react to Deontay Wilder’s antics. Many stars have given their opinion on the same, and the youngest four-weight world champion was the latest to do so.
Speaking to the AK and Barak show on SiriusXM boxing, the newly crowned champion said, “I think Wilder has had too much time on his hands. He needs to focus on his own damn self, go back in the gym, get ready for a fight. Stop talking about a dent in your head. You’re a grown-a** man, stop being a bi**h.”

These are strong words from Lopez, who has been extremely vocal since his victory over Vasyl Lomachenko. ‘The Bronze Bomber’, however, has not done himself any favors with the video. He accused Tyson Fury of cheating by tampering with the gloves and added yet another ludicrous explanation as to why he lost.
‘The Gypsy King’ is yet to comment on the claims, but it is safe to say that he won’t pay too much attention to it. Fury’s camp, however, has come out and rubbished the claims. Excuses from fighters are nothing new to the sport of boxing. However, the way Wilder has gone about it, is what makes this really embarrassing.

Why does Teofimo Lopez think Wilder has too much time on his hands?
Wilder was quiet ever since his defeat to Fury in February. The video was the first time he addressed the fight, and all he had was accusations against Tyson Fury. The reason things like this do not go down well in the boxing community is that all fighters believe in respecting their opponents.

So it’s understandable why Lopez thinks Wilder has too much time on his hands. ‘The Bronze Bomber’ should take Lopez’s suggestion and focus on himself. Even though he may not be fighting Fury next, there will be a tough fight on the horizon. Going into his next fight with a fresh mindset should be his priority.
