Michael Benson of talk sport wrote, “Anthony Joshua’s trainer Robert Garcia: “I think Oleksandr Usyk was mentally stronger… His mind made him turn the tide. And I think Anthony’s mind is a bit weaker than Usyk’s – instead of going out stronger, his mind and exhaustion played games with him.”

After the loss in the first collision, Joshua held his team and his coach accountable for it. According to him, his corner played a very big role in his loss against Usyk. As a result, he removed his long-time trainer and hired Garcia to train for the rematch. However, before the fight, Garcia was very sure of Joshua’s victory, but the fight result shattered all his hopes.
