Tyson Fury shocked the whole world after he announced that he would retire from boxing following his emphatic victory over Dillian Whyte to retain his WBC heavyweight title at the Wembley stadium earlier this year.

There were many rumors surrounding the return of Fury back into the squared circle, but the champ was quick to dismiss them. However, ‘The Gypsy King’ surprisingly announced that he would be willing to fight fellow Brit and rival Anthony Joshua if he can overcome the unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk in his next fight.

Moreover, Fury has also stated he would only be willing to fight ‘AJ’ if the tickets are free and the bout is aired on free TV instead of PPV. And it looks like this announcement has made Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson better known by his nickname, ‘The Mountain’ restless, as he called out Fury to fight him.

‘The Mountain’ calls out Fury

Björnsson posted a story on his Instagram after he had been in a training session with his boxing coach and stated that he had a question for the heavyweight champion.“I have a question for one guy Tyson Fury, where the f**k are you?.” He said in the story.

Moreover, he also added that he thought Fury was and asked him if he was afraid to show himself, “I thought you said you came to Iceland are you afraid to show yourself.” He added.

It seems that The Mountain is eager to face the heavyweight champion after beating fellow strongman Eddie Hall in the heaviest boxing match of all time.

The Mountain vs Tyson Fury

On paper, this might be one of the greatest mismatches of all time. Fury is the far more experienced and talented boxer with a record of 32-0-1 in his 33 professional fights. Moreover, he currently sits on top of the heavyweight division along with Oleksandr Usyk. Fury is not only regarded as one of the best heavyweights right now but has made his case for being one of the best boxers of all time.

Although ‘The Mountain’ has a height and weight advantage over The Gypsy King, it is hard to see him faring well in the ring against Fury. Moreover, this match would be very far back on the list if Fury decides to come out of retirement.
