Oleksandr Usyk will take a step closer to the heavyweight title shot by facing Joe Joyce for the WBO Interim belt. As both the pugilists are undefeated knockout artists, it validates their upcoming in-ring collision.
However, many believe Usyk may not fit well in the heavyweight circuit, including Tyson Fury’s ex-trainer Ben Davison. Although Davison pointed at Usyk’s alluring boxing skills, he still favored Joe Joyce to win the fight.
Davison hailed the matchup and appeared interested in watching it. However, he seemed worried about Oleksandr Usyk’s abilities in the division and connected with IFL tv to talk about the potential fight.
