Youtube sensation Jake Paul has backed WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury to beat Anthony Joshua. The two heavyweight behemoths have been in talks over a potential bout set to take place in December. This came after Fury’s offer to face Oleksandr Usyk this year was declined by the Ukrainian.
The Gypsy King then made a 60/40 offer to his fellow British boxer, which he reportedly accepted. The fight has the potential to be the biggest in the heavyweight division with two of the best, coming face to face. However, Paul is certain that Fury will come out victorious in this fight. In an interview with TalkSport, The Problem Child cited Joshua as his inspiration but claimed that he had no chance of beating Fury.

“I really like Anthony Joshua. He’s a dope guy, he inspires me, but Tyson’s just not beatable man, unfortunately. He’s too big and has too much skill” he said.
Moreover, he went on to compare Fury with Muhammad Ali and also praised his chin and ability to absorb damage. “He’s 270lbs, 280lbs sometimes, bouncing up and down in the ring like Muhammad Ali, has an amazing chin that withstood dozens of punches from Deontay Wilder, the hardest puncher in heavyweight history. So, he’s just not beatable I don’t think.” he added

Paul certainly makes some valid points about Fury being more skilled than Joshua. Although ‘AJ’ might be the stronger and more intimidating boxer the flaws and holes in his game were exposed by Usyk who beat him twice despite being the much smaller fighter.

Paul recently got into a disagreement with Manny Pacquiao’s former trainer Freddie Roach. This was after Roach made some comments about Mike Tyson not wanting to watch Paul spar in his gym. In an interview with FightHYpe TV Roach claimed that Tyson left just after 30 seconds of watching the Youtuber train and left. This did not sit well with Paul who called out Roach for these comments.
He stated that Roach was a hater and called him an ‘idiot’ who did not produce good fighters anymore. “Freddie is a f**king idiot, he’s a hater, he coached Ben Askren to no avail, literally worthless, he’s off his rocker, he literally trains zero good fighters anymore and is a Jake Paul hater.” he said. Paul is currently undefeated as a boxer and will face former UFC middleweight champion, Anderson Silva, in his next bout. He will have the chance to prove his worth in the ring against one of the best fighters MMA has ever seen.
