He lost an interim title bout against Joseph Diaz last July but came back with a knockout victory over Rafael Hernandez in February.

The 23-year-old boxer will be the favorite to win coming into this fight and this fight is seen as a stepping stone for him to eventually face Gervonta Davis. However, Fortuna is a veteran in the sport and will be the toughest challenge in Garcia’s career since he fought Luke Campbell. Moreover, the Dominican boxer will be motivated to get an upset win at this stage of his career.
