The heated rivalry between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder began almost three years back. However, it is yet to see its concluding chapter. After two gruesome encounters, the scoreboard shows Fury to have a 1-0 lead over Wilder. So, the current situation has urged the fans to believe in Fury’s supremacy over ‘The Bronze Bomber’.

However, the situation was quite different back in 2018, when both men hadn’t squared off inside the ring. Deontay Wilder, still a loudmouth, didn’t hesitate in engaging in a verbal war with Tyson Fury. While both men were undefeated at that time, it intensified the rivalry even more.

The third fight between them, which will happen on October 9, has been free of trash-talking from Wilder’s side. But the first collision in 2018 saw both men go right after each other.

Top Rank released a video that showed Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder engage in brutal verbal banter.

As the post suggested, the act took place after the official filming, where Tyson Fury claimed that he would ‘eat’ Deontay Wilder’s heart. Things could have broken loose, but the media and crew remained alert and maintained a gap between the heavyweight boxers.

The in-ring scenario, which ended in a draw, saw both men relish their moments. Although Tyson Fury had secured enough moments to win, a shocking knockdown in round 12 blocked him from grabbing the WBC belt. Two tears later, in 2020, Fury stopped Deontay Wilder in round seven to become the WBC title-holder. Now, the third meeting will finally settle the scores and close the rivalry.
