With a win over ‘Cool Hand’, Garcia captured the WBC interim lightweight belt. This win directly puts him in contention to take on the WBC lightweight champion, Devin Haney. However, he is also speculated to take on the ‘Tank’ Gervonta Davis by this year’s end.

Both Garcia and Davis share an extensive beef. Unquestionably both of them are elite youngsters who have the potential to rule the lightweight division. This fight has the audacity to go down as a sure shot blockbuster for the year, and the rivalry between them just adds to its hype.
