We all know Anthony Joshua as a treacherous knock out artist and a 2X unified heavyweight world champion. But, we know very little about his life outside the ring.

Despite being a global icon, Joshua has managed to keep his personal life low-key. He doesn’t appear to be a huge party monster or someone who likes to flex an extravagant lifestyle.

If we look at his social media posts, either they speak of his training camps, boxing scenarios, or his four-year-old son Joseph Bayley Temiloluwa Prince Joshua “JJ”.

Anthony Joshua has always been a humble figure and has remained out of unnecessary spot-light. Although his in-ring achievements have brought glory, Joshua doesn’t let it intervene in his personal life.

As per reports, he is a single father and is quite happy parenting his kid. Other than staying busy in training and fights, the Brit loves spending time with his family. Here’s everything you need to know about his son.

Anthony Joshua and JJ- The Father and Son goals

Following his title win in 2016 against Charles Martin, Joshua and his girlfriend (then) Nicole Osbourne were blessed with a baby boy. But, the pair split up for unknown reasons a few days later. Since then, ‘AJ’ has been taking care of JJ alongside his family.

‘AJ’ often posts pictures of his son and claims to bring the best for him. However, he doesn’t want his son to enter the boxing ring. The boxer feels that it’s an extremely risky sport and doesn’t want to see his son to go through the hurdle. During an interaction with GQ, the heavyweight great has opened up on the same.

‘AJ’ said, “It’s too hard. It’s a dangerous sport. I want my son to be the best man that he can be, but I don’t want him to be compared to me. You’re not going to be a boxing star without going through heaps of pain. Life is not a highlight reel. A career is not a highlight reel. People see the glamour, the winning. Nobody’s interested in the knocks and bruises, the bad eye, the struggle.”

Aged 31, Joshua is not often linked with controversies. Although former welterweight boxer Amir Khan had accused him of getting involved with his wife in the past, Joshua denied all the claims.
