Former middleweight champion Laila Ali was the only daughter of boxing legend Muhammad Ali who found similar success to her father in the ring. Laila was one of nine children Ali had with six different women, with her and her sister Hana being Ali and their mother Veronica Porche’s style.

Although many would consider Laila to be Ali’s favorite, this was certainly not the case, as she detailed multiple instances when she disobeyed her father and had an up-and-down relationship with him. However, Hana was the actual favorite of ‘The People’s Champ’ and had a very strong connection with her father. Laila also detailed this in a recent Instagram post she shared where she, Hana, and Muhammad Ali all stood together.

The former female champion, recently posted a rare family photo on her Instagram account. In the photo, the three can be seen together, as Laila described how Hana was her father’s favorite child. She also claimed that while she was the one who followed in his footsteps, Hana and his relationship will always be unmatched.

“My sister @hanayali and I with pops. She was Daddy’s Girl! Many people assume I was, because I followed his footsteps. But that right there…was his number one. 🥰She knew him better than any of us and their relationship and connection was unmatched.” She wrote.

Muhammad Ali’s Daughter Laila Ali Promotes Infusing Positive Energy in Children During Black History Month

This was not all, as the rare photo of boxing royalty left the boxing world stunned, with fans reacting to this iconic picture.

One fan praised Laila for giving her sister the due respect she deserved. “I love that you are a real one to give your sister her respect for their relationship,” she wrote.

Another fan called this photo a great one. “What a great picture” he wrote,

A fan even claimed that he prayed for Ali ever since he passed away in 2016. “What a great man he was . I really do pray from all the time .” he wrote.

Moreover, one fan stated that although Laila shared similar looks to her father, Hana was the favorite child. “You looked like him and that was enough for him, but your sister they shared a love connection,” she wrote.

The fans were certainly delighted to see this rare picture of ‘The People’s Champ’ along with his daughters. In addition, it was also very nice to see Laila giving her sister the respect she deserved and not bickering like siblings usually do. However, this shouldn’t be a surprise as the two sisters have a close bond often defending eachother whenever in trouble.
