Former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder had a comeback for the ages after knocking out Robert Helenius in the first round back in October. The Bronze Bomber seemed to not have lost his touch after his layoff from the sport following his loss to WBC champion Tyson Fury in their third fight. However, it seems that Wilder might be back into title contention following his victory.

He is expected to face former unified champion Andy Ruiz Jr for the number one contender spot, whom Wilder’s coach Malik Scott considers “absolutely no threat”. Despite this speculation, Wilder has come out with an interesting message that had many people wondering what he was talking about.

The former Olympian took to Twitter and came out with a message that left everyone confused. He stated, someone ‘soul searched’ him by looking into his body and told him that he was loved. However, he added that the same person stole from him and took advantage of his leniency which scared him. “Wait, you soul searched by looking into my eyes just to tell me you love me, but in the same sentence, you steal from me?! Now that’s scary,” he wrote.

While many people admire Wilder for the power he packs in his punches, the same can’t be said for his philosophy. Moreover, the fans were quick to jump in and troll ‘The Bronze Bomber’ as they reacted to this message.

However, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ has bigger things to worry about if he wants to get his heavyweight title back. The bout between the two heavyweights was eyed in May but it has been changed due to Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman taking place in the same month, as reported by Michael Benson.
